There’s Still a Whole Lot of Sunshine Left in 2026 ā˜€ļø

I can hardly believe I’m already looking at the calendar and realizing there are only a few months left in 2026.

And honestly… when I look at everything still to come at Suni- Bear Farms, my heart is FULL. ā¤ļø

This little farm has become so much more than I ever imagined. It’s a place to learn, slow down, love on animals, laugh, leave some worries at the gate, and hopefully a place where everyone who walks through our gate feels just a little bit more like sunshine. ā˜€ļø

So, before the year gets away from me, I wanted to share everything happening from now through Christmas!

šŸ‚ October 17th — Farm Clean Up Day

First up… it’s time to get to work!

October 17th is farm clean-up day, and there is ALWAYS something that needs to be done around here. šŸ˜‚ and boy do we have a list🫣

  • Front flower beds cleaned

  • Back fenceline cleaned

  • New garden plot mapped

  • Old garden plot cleaned up

  • Clean around hay barn

  • Deep clean duck hut (get ready for winter)

  • Clean out pasture

Farm life isn’t always cute animals and pretty pictures. Sometimes it’s dirty boots, sweat, hauling things around, and looking at a mess thinking, ā€œWhere in the world do I even start?ā€

But every bit of it is worth it!!

This farm is a gift, and taking care of it is part of taking care of the animals, the people who visit, and the programs I’m so passionate about creating.

šŸ October 24th — Springville Pediatric Fall Festival

October 24th is all about getting out into the community!

I’ll be at the Springville Pediatric Fall Festival, and Mocha and Petunia will be coming along for the fun. šŸā¤ļø

I love being able to take a little piece of the farm beyond the gates and introduce people to agriculture in a fun, hands-on way.

Come say hello, meet Mocha and Petunia, and spend some time enjoying a good old-fashioned fall festival. And of course I can’t show up anywhere without bringing a little sunshine with me. ā˜€ļø

šŸŽƒ October 25th — First Baptist Church of Pinson Fall Festival

Then it’s off to another fall festival! We are making it a full weekend of festivals!

On October 25th, I’ll be at the First Baptist Church of Pinson Fall Festival, and this time the ā€œOriginal Goatā€ himself- Jingles is coming with me! ā¤ļø

There’s just something special about bringing Jingles to my church’s outreach event! Kids light up, conversations start, questions get asked, and suddenly agriculture becomes a little more personal.

That’s exactly what I want Suni- Bear Farms to do — make agriculture approachable, fun, and something people can connect with.

So come find me, come meet Jingles, and come enjoy some fall fun!

šŸ‘» October 31st — Sunshine Saturday: SPOOKY EDITION

Okay… THIS one is going to be FUN. šŸ‘»šŸŽƒ

Sunshine Saturday is getting a spooky makeover!

On October 31st, the farm will be filled with fall fun, animals, costumes, and plenty of sunshine.

Expect:

  • Costume galore- even the animals are getting in on it!

  • Fall & pumpkin agriculture education

  • Trick-or-treating

  • Kindness Corner

  • Prayer Station

  • Farm shop + Suni- Bear Farms apparel

  • And lots of good farm fun!

I love being able to take something like Halloween and turn it into an opportunity to teach, connect, and create memories! There will be pumpkins, animals, kids running around, probably a little chaos… and hopefully a whole lot of laughter. šŸ˜‚ Basically, exactly the kind of day I love at the farm.

🦃 November 14th — Sunshine Saturday: Thanksgiving on the Farm

Sunshine Saturdays gets yet another makeover! And this one is getting a little extra fun because there will be a pumpkin painting party! šŸŽØšŸŽƒ

There will be time with the animals, agriculture education, pumpkin painting, a Kindness Corner, a Prayer Station, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being outside on the farm. I want this day to be about slowing down and being thankful for all that we have!

šŸ’„ The farm shop and apparel will also be open for anyone who wants to do a little shopping while they’re here.

šŸŽ„ December 19th — Sunshine Saturday: Christmas on the Farm

And then, somehow, it will be Christmas. šŸŽ„ā¤ļø

I’m ending the year with something extra special — Christmas on the Farm.

There will be:

  • Hot cocoa station

  • Prayer Station

  • Christmas ornament craft

  • Kindness Corner with Christmas cards

  • Christmas photo station

  • Time with the animals

  • Farm shop + Suni- Bear Farms apparel

  • And plenty of Christmas sunshine!

I want this one to feel warm, simple, and full of the things that make Christmas special. A place to remember what Christmas is really about. And maybe a few pictures that end up becoming favorite memories!

ā¤ļø But Here’s the Real Reason Behind All of It…

If you’ve followed Suni- Bear Farms for any amount of time, you know this farm is about so much more than my animals. Even though they are my whole world!

My mission is to advocate for agriculture, spread kindness like wildflowers, and show God’s love to everyone.

That mission is behind every event, every agriculture lesson, every farm tour, every program, every animal, every shirt sale, every jar of jelly sold, and every crazy idea that pops into my head. šŸ˜‚

I truly believe God placed this farm in my life as my purpose and my path!

And I want to use this wonderful gift for that!

I want kids to learn where their food comes from. I want families to experience agriculture. I want people to have a safe place to slow down. I want someone having a hard day to be able to walk through the gates, sit with an animal, breathe a little deeper, and leave feeling just a little lighter.

I want kindness to be contagious.

I want people to see God’s love in the little things. And I want Suni- Bear Farms to keep being a place where everyone feels like sunshine. ā˜€ļø

Every purchase from the farm shop, every piece of apparel, every event, every program, and every person who walks through those gates helps make that possible. The proceeds go right back into the animals, the farm, and most importantly, the programs and experiences I’m working to create for the community.

So if you see me out at one of these events, come say hey. If you see me with an animal, come meet them. If you see a Sunshine Saturday on the calendar, come spend the day with me.

And if you’ve supported Suni- Bear Farms in any way this year — whether you bought something, shared a post, brought your family to an event, donated, volunteered, prayed, or simply encouraged me along the way — thank you.

You are part of this little farm story, too. ā¤ļø

There’s still a whole lot of 2026 left. And I plan on filling every bit of it with sunshine, animals, agriculture, kindness, faith, and a whole lot of memories.

Come spend some sunshine with me. šŸŒ»ā˜€ļø

Live like Betty LouisešŸ¤
