Welcome back to the blog! Did I miss a whole monthš¤Æš³ Thatās my bad! Juggling a full time job with the farm full time and other wonderful adventures can get hard to sit down and write out a blog! BUT no excuses around here! We are back and better than ever!
ā”ļøFirst and foremost I want to thank EVERYONE for following and believing in my dream- this farm! To see and look back on where we were over 5 years ago is crazy! 5 years ago we barely had a paddock fenced in and grass growing out in the pastures let alone a fully functioning barn! Wow how has time flown but seeing how much yall support my dream, my animals and myself is truly amazing! I do not take that lightly! I still have a giveaway going on on Facebook! When we reach 2k followers a winner will be announced! Head on over to our Facebook page and enter!
ā”ļøNext up is our egg orders! Can you believe that I donāt have a waiting list right now?! Which means I have eggs coming out of my ears𤣠Message me today to get your egg order in and to schedule a farmstand pickup time!
ā”ļø FARM TOURS AND CLASSES!!!
Our private farm tours and classes are ready to be scheduled! This is a great way to get your kids out on a farm, but in the smaller scale, and learn all about farming, gardening and Alabamaās role in agriculture!
Farm Tours-
⢠$5 a person. Kids 8 and under are free
⢠30 minutes to enjoy the farm and ask questions
⢠Get hands on experience
Agriculture Class

⢠hour long class (can be cut shorter for littles)
⢠All participants get an interactive packet that goes along with our class. Participants can also ask questions as well as get hands on experience
Master Classes
⢠$10 a person. Kids 8 and under are free.
⢠This is where participants get to choose from one of our topics and we dive deeper into that subject together! I love sharing my knowledge with others!
⢠Topics include: Goat Keeping, Chicken Keeping, Gardening, and Hobby Farming
⢠These can be done as a one on one or as a small group
Kidās Chicken Keeping Class
⢠$5 a person. Kids 8 and under free
⢠This class is specifically designed for kids who are wanting to keep their own backyard flock. This class goes over basic skills to have with your flock as well as how to take care of your chickens. This is a great introduction for kids before committing your family to getting your own backyard flock!
Mentorship Opportunity:
We will be opening up applications for our mentorship program come January! Whoever is picked will have 6 sessions out of the farm getting one on one time with me as well as getting to help with day to day activities. This is where if they need help or prayer, I am there! Applicants need to be high school students and are comfortable being around farm animals.
Private Photo Sessions:
⢠This is where you can book the farm as your next backdrop for your family pictures, senior pictures, Baby pictures, Christmas card pictures, etc!
⢠A 30 minute private session is $25. You will have to bring your own photographer or I can take pictures for an additional $20
ā”ļøOur next major milestone that has happened this past month that Iāve been MIA is that I was officially voted in as the next President of the Jefferson County Young Farmers Committee! I am so excited for this wonderful opportunity and cannot wait to hit the ground running come January! If you are interested in joining the young farmers group please reach out to me and we can discuss it! Members need to be between the ages of 18-35years old and have a drive for agriculture! Jefferson County is a large and very populated county so thereās plenty for us to do and lots of people to reach!
I do want to remind teachers about our farm city contest! Reference the flyer below for information! All entries must be turned in by October 31st!

Thank you all so much again for all the love and support! I do want to hear from you! Let me know if you would like for me to start up some educational blogs for quick references, YouTube video to correlate with the blog or what you want! Please let me know by emailing me at:
Until next time,
