IT’S GONNA BE MEY! Okay yall we just HAD to start our blog post with that!

HAPPY MAY 1ST everyone! ☀️ Every year May has been such a special month for us! We have so many important dates throughout the month that we actually started last year calling May, Suni- Bear Farms month! We will be having surprise giveaways, a MASSIVE Farm Fun Day, and so much more!

In the month of May we have:

• Suni- Bear Farm’s 5th Birthday

• Hunny’s 3rd Birthday

We are so excited for all the is to come in May and we cannot wait to celebrate with yall! It’s gonna be a busy but FUN month! ☀️

We are just so blessed to be able to do this everyday and share what we love with yall! *Remember that we are by appointment only as we also live on site. Egg orders are farmstand pickup only unless appointment has been made for a private tour. Tours are $5 a person! Thanks so much for understanding! 🤍

Yall! Our water lines to the barn have begun! We have the trench dug and the lines laid! Now all is left is to hook everything up and install the sink inside the barn! How exciting!!!!

✨MEGA FARM FUN DAY is happening!!!! Come join us on May 24th for a fun afternoon celebrating all things Suni- Bear Farms! We will be celebrating our 5th Birthday! It’s so amazing how far we have come in 5 years, and many people told us we would never see this milestone😱 So come on out May 24th and celebrate with us! We will have fun activities for the kids, some cupcakes to enjoy, and of course our lovely animals will be out for some lovings and some pictures! Message us for address! 🥰

➡️Also if a photographer wants to come out and set up for mini photoshoots LET US KNOW!

✨Summer Farm School! We are so excited for this wonderful opportunity for youth to come out to the farm and get hands on experience! With 4 classes total it’s sure to be loads of fun! Kids will not only get hands on experience on how to small scale farm, but also learn about animal care, agriculture, and so much more!

➡️ Class one is June 21st and spots are filling up fast! Message us to get your kids a spot! Classes are $15 for each child

✨Egg orders!!! Please make sure you contact us when you need another order! We have been keeping our waiting list down to a minimum🙌🏻 With that our limit to one dozen or one 18 count is still in effect to ensure everyone gets the farm fresh eggs they want! And remember egg orders are FARMSTAND PICKUP ONLY

✨Jellies! We will be having a restock of strawberry jelly come next weekend! Please let us know if you want to preorder a jar!!! Jars are $6 each!

✨Our shop is still open for orders! We love seeing yall rep our products! We also have ONE spot come open for a brand rep! If you are serious about representing our farm PLEASE REACH OUT TO APPLY!

✨Bible study is to start back up this Sunday Evening at 530pm! Please let us know if you would like to join in! We will be walking through the book of Proverbs this month! Message to get in with our group!

✨Mentorship opportunity for the summer!!! If you have a teenager that would like some experience on the farm and getting mentored by our owner please reach out! This is something that has been placed on our heart to do and we would love it if we can see it through. They will be coming out once a week to help with weekly chores as well as having fun and hands on experience with the animals all while getting some “positive away time”. We love that our farm is considered a safe place and we sometimes have to throw out some wisdom and advice 🤍 If you are interested or know someone who is please have them message Brandie at (205) 680-4645 ☀️

The Farm Through Our Lenses

God can really move you right where He needs you. Sometimes it may feel like you are in a valley but when you keep your eyes fixed on the Son, the valley doesn’t seem to scary. Hard times are tough to get through and sometimes those hard times no one may know about but you. But when you give those problems to God, and I know how hard it is to give them and leave them at His feet. Our human nature will want to pick them back up again (worry/stress) BUT GOD tells us to lay our burdens, worries, stress, anxiety, problems at His feet and he will work them out. As long as you keep them there. And sometimes it may feel like “but God, I gave this to you and I’m still dealing with it” Then as soon as you least expect it, God will show you what He CAN DO! This past week I was at a breaking point, my life felt like it had no meaning, I wasn’t being the “good Christian” and reading His Word everyday. I stumbled myself right into a valley. I finally hit my knees and asked God to bring me out of this funk. After praying I turned on my worship playlist and the first song that came on was Brandon Lake’s “Don’t You Give Up on Me” followed by “Gratitude”. Yall if that wasn’t a God Wink I don’t know what else could be! I immediately felt God’s presence and started worshipping and praising Him because I KNEW HE HEARD AND HE HAS ME! What an amazing feeling that is!!!

I hope this can help just one person today! God just placed it on my heart to write this out and that what I did! If you need any prayer or guidance please feel free to reach out! We love our animals and our farm but the root of it all is to share how AWESOME OUR GOD IS!!! I wouldn’t be doing any of this or have any of these amazing animals or farm if it wasn’t for Him. BUT GOD!
