Our August month schedule is filling up quickly as well! To schedule a private farm tour, one of our many options for classes or a photo session (which includes are cute animals) MESSAGE US!!! Spots go by quickly and don’t be a last minute Larry!
💥 We do have a confirmed event happening at the trussville Tractor Supply August 2nd with our famous goat Jingles stopping by!
With all that being said we are also super excited to be getting our first round of shirts pressed this weekend! We wil have another shirt sale come the end of the month so be on the lookout for that, and also our fall, Halloween, and Christmas designs coming real soon! Be on the lookout for some cute new ones!
Also our newly redesigned farmstand is BOOMING! Thank you everyone for supporting our cute little stand! Don’t forget we post a new menu each week with what’s available! Here’s the menu this week! (Eggs are on slight delay due to weather!)
We also wanted to update everyone on how the state chairman’s workshop went… IT WENT FANTASTIC!!! God is so good! To know how hard I’ve worked and doubted my calling for years and seeing how far God takes me is incredible! I am so excited to officially be moved into the Chairman position and kickstart the Jefferson County Young Farmers in high gear! I have big dreams from a big God!
Also we want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to WBRC Fox 6 New station and their amazing metrologists for showcasing our farm several times in the news as well as on their social media platforms! We cannot thank y’all enough for all the support, it truly means the world!
We’d also like to thank Meteorologist Jason Simpson for sharing our farm as well! Jason does a fantastic job of reporting the weather but also keeps the farmers in the loop as well!
This is the pic that helped us get so much support this week:
All the animals are enjoying some sunny days…. All under their fans 😂 The goats and Hunny come out early morning and later in the afternoon and nap under the fans during the hottest part of the day! And as for the chickens, they got upgraded fans in the coop to keep air flow in the run as well as to keep the duck hut 10° cooler! They are all living the life!
And stay tuned for our video of how we keep the chickens cool during extreme heat coming to you on YouTube!
We are so thankful each and everyday for the opportunity to live out our little girl dreams! I never dreamed of it being this, BUT GOD!
